Springtime....
a time of hope
a time of renewal
a time of new beginnings |

|
|
My flower garden is nothing
to brag about....but it is very dear to me because many of my flowers,
shrubs and yard decorations, were given to me, either by my two sons or some very dear
friends...I love to work in my yard...it is very therapeutic for
me....
but, as I do grow older, it has become harder and harder...lol |
|
This is a very special gift
from my brother..
He gave it to me in June 2002, for my birthday, while visiting
us from France. |

FRIENDSHIP'S FLOWERS
Life is a garden,
good friends are the flowers.
And time spent together,
life's happiest hours;
For friendship, like flowers,
blooms ever more fair
When carefully tended
by dear friends who care;
And life's lovely garden
would be sweeter by far
If all who passed through it
were as nice as you are.

"Bleeding
Heart"-15 April 2003
My son Rick, gave me this flower in 1980,
as a mother's day gift....He bought it with his "paper
route" money! |
|
My garden beautifies my
yard
And adds fragrance to the air...
But it is also my cathedral
And my quiet place of prayers...
So little do we realize
that "the glory and the power"
Of He who made the universe
lies hidden in a flower!

"Crepe
Myrtle"-September 2002
This is one of my "Crepe Myrtles" given to me by my son Jack
in the 80s ..
I have some pink and white ones, he also gave me. |

Christmas 1999-this was a
gift from my two sons
Jack & Rick.. |
|
"Chrysler
Imperial" and "Double Delight" |
|
God created the rose in the
likeness of a woman.
The rose represents beauty.
The stem represents strength.
The petals are soft as skin,
The fragrance pure and sweet.
The leaves represent arms outstretched,
always loving and giving. |
|
Life is like a garden
And friendship like a flower
That blooms and grows in beauty
With the sunshine and the shower...

May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun
And find your shoulder to light on.
To bring you luck, happiness and riches
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
