Jane-My Angel In Life
April 16, 1918~~December 29, 2002

God's Promises
God gives grace for each trial,
And courage for each sorrow,
And faith to face in confidence
A blessed, bright tomorrow.

Even though my beautiful friend's soul went to Heaven
December 29, 2002, I did not want this page to be just a memorial
but also a celebration of our friendship and our love.  No one can ever be
more thankful of Jane's love than I am.  Do I ever miss you my beautiful friend!!!

I met Jane in 1978, when I joined a Ceramic class.
Even though I saw her every week, we really didn't become good friends
until March 1981 when her husband passed away.....
Our friendship really blossomed then....she couldn't drive so I took her
wherever she needed to go...We would spend time together every week..
We just enjoyed each other's company...Jane was so easy to talk to...
she was  kind, loving, understanding and had more compassion
than anyone I have ever met...She was very wise too....
When we were together, the time seemed to go by so quickly...
These last few years, Jane was confined home...I tried to visit with her
as often as I could...I would take lunch and coffee so we still
could enjoy our time together...we spent hours talking about the "good old days"...
Jane loved birds...oh yes, she had a beautiful collection of birds-she also
loved Angels, flowers...there was not much she didn't like...
Oh how do I miss her, and those wonderful visits and hugs...
I always felt so "uplifted" each time we would visit.... we would start a conversation  and
suddenly we would find ourselves talking about everything under the sun...
We would stop and laugh, and say "How did we end up there"????
She was such a joy...a beautiful friend with a beautiful spirit..
Jane loved God with all her heart and soul...and even though I miss her terribly,
I know she is now happy with her Lord...
Jane had become more than a friend to me-she was my "other mom"..
I visited her in the hospital on the 19th of December...When time came for me to leave
I couldn't help but cry and she looked at me with those loving eyes and said..
"don't you cry now honey".....
This was the last time I saw my beautiful friend...

Friendship's Tapestry

So often when I think of you and all the times we shared
My heart is filled with thankfulness to have a friend who cared
Enough to listen to me tell of joys and trials.
Your being there has been enough to change my tears to smiles.

The subtle love between two friends is so hard to define.
It is not a square or circle or even a straight line.
It's somehow like a tapestry with colors soft and bold
Yet deep within the weaving there are tiny threads of gold.

Yes, rare and oh so lovely are your friendship's threads of gold.
For they will last a lifetime and then when my story's told,
Someone will hold my tapestry and turn it towards the light,
And tiny points, those threads of gold will gleam and shine so bright.
And they may think it's just a thread like green or red or blue
Perhaps they'll never ever know that golden thread was you.

But I've been thinking lately how you've touched my life just so -
Of how you are so dear to me - and I wanted you to know-
That even if you're next to me or though we're miles apart
Your golden thread of friendship still will weave within my heart.

To Jane
My dearest,
sweetest friend

We have been
 friends for many years
through sunshine
and through the rain...
The love we shared
in life
will never fade away
I love you with all my heart

Two Roses

Two Roses stand together
Amongst the mighty Thorns
Two Roses bloom together
thru many mighty storms
Two Roses share their petals
each one a story tells
Two Roses wilt together
once their life's fulfilled
Two Roses die together
and enter eternity's still~

Two Roses stand together
without the mighty thorns
Two Roses Bloom in Heaven
Without having any storms
Two Roses share their Petals
Their story can't be missed
Two Roses won't wilt in Heaven
for time does not exist

Two Roses bloom forever

Dearest Jane

I carry your presence in my heart
It's nothing anyone can see
It's just a forever feeling
That lives in the heart of me.
I feel your friendly presence
From time to time it comes
Perhaps as a fleeting smile
Or in the beauty of a setting sun.
The way you touched me over time
Is a pleasure I can't deny
And your friendship that lives within
Will be with me till the day I die.

And now with a broken heart and many tears
I must say goodbye.  You were a treasure in my life.
I love you and  miss you so much.
So long dear friend until we meet again.

Always and Forever

Renee
